Who Collects Trash in Each Rock County Municipality

Updated

Short answer

Janesville and Beloit run their own city crews. Johns Disposal serves Milton, Footville, Orfordville and several towns; GFL serves Edgerton, Evansville, the Village of Clinton and Plymouth; the Town of Beloit makes each household hire a licensed hauler; and the Town of Union has no curbside service, only a drop-off center.

Why it matters for junk

Your hauler decides your bulk options. City crews in Janesville do not do curbside bulk; Beloit's do, for a fee. Johns Disposal towns each negotiate their own terms. If your town publishes nothing, call the town clerk: Newark, for one, tells residents to do exactly that.
