Hours

Monday 8am to 3:30pm, Tuesday to Friday 8am to 3pm, Saturday 8am to 1pm. Closed Sundays and major holidays. The compost and clean fill site next door runs April to October, with reduced hours in November, and closes December to March.

What the numbers mean for a do-it-yourself trip

The tipping fee is rarely the expensive part. A trailer load weighing half a ton is billed at $23, because $46 per ton times half a ton beats the $20 minimum. What costs you is the trailer, the loading, and the second trip when the appliances, tires and TV have to go somewhere else. Commercial haulers also need an annual license to use the landfill.
